REPOLEN PREINSULATED RP pipes are manufactured from FASER RP pipes, which are insulated with a layer of projected polyurethane foam (PUR) and covered with a high density polyethylene (HDPE) sheath. It is identified by the green color with white stripes of its inner tube. Like the REPOLEN FASER CLIMA, they are composed mostly of PPR-CT, minimizing the possible effects of expansion and contraction due to temperature changes during their life cycle. They have excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. PPR-CT offers greater stability and durability than conventional PPR, reducing deterioration and extending the useful life of the installation. REPOLEN FASER RP pipes resist for more than 30 years to a continuous dosage of 4.3ppm of sodium hypochlorite at 60º.

The fiberglass layer of the inner tube provides greater structural rigidity and increases pressure resistance at elevated temperatures. The improved tensile strength results in less expansion of the pipe, so fewer supports and fewer loops are required during installation. The intermediate layer is formed by the polyurethane foam (PUR), which surrounds the pipe and the shell. It is this layer that acts as insulation. PUR HFO foam is created using Hydrofluoro-Olefins (HFO), foaming agents with minimal environmental impact. This foam is closed-cell and is composed of polyols of renewable and recyclable origin such as natural oils and waste PET. The exterior of the pre-insulated pipe is a PE100 sheath. This sheath acts as protection between the exterior and the fluid that will flow through the internal pipe. PE100 has a high resistance to UV rays in situations of risk of accidental solar exposure.

PROJECTS

REPOLEN PREINSULATED RP pipes are the most suitable solution for both residential and industrial projects. Designed for DHW and AFS plumbing installations, hot springs, swimming pools, geothermal installations, installations sensitive to disinfection against legionella, compressed air installations, and the transport of industrial liquids where energy loss is minimised, optimising energy resources. REPOLEN PREINSULATED RP pre-insulated pipes are the most efficient solution for installations with insulation requirements. We recommend this pipeespecially for DHW (domestic hot water) and high-pressure hot water systems, as it offers exceptional resistance to high temperatures and pressures. REPOLEN FASER RP pipes are manufactured in accordance with the UNE EN ISO 21003 standard. Polypropylene pipes exhibit outstanding chemical resistance, capable of withstanding both acids and alkalis, as well as most industrial chemicals.

All REPOLEN pipes are made from new raw materials, as legislation does not permit the use of recycled materials for drinking water. Committed to the environment, we use eco-friendly and 100% recyclable materials. REPOLEN PRE-INSULATED RP pipes are available in SDR7.4 and SDR9, in a wide variety of diameters, from 25 mm to 200 mm.
