In the extensive REPOLEN product catalog, we differentiate our PPR pipes and fittings into two types: single-layer and multi-layer. Single-layer pipes, as the name suggests, are made up of a single layer of material. The color of the visible layer of the pipe or the four lines on its surface indicate the intended use of the pipe. In the case of single-layer PPR pipes, we see green pipes without lines, pipes with blue lines, or green pipes with a purple exterior that show the applications of the pipes—green for general use, blue for drinking water, and purple for reclaimed water.

PP-R polypropylene pipes are odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, making them suitable for drinking water distribution. Single-layer pipes are intended for cold sanitary water networks (AFS), hot sanitary water networks (ACS), food processing water, chemical product transport, drinking water, and reclaimed water. Thanks to their temperature resistance, high pressure-bearing capacity, and low heat loss, REPOLEN PPR pipes and fittings become the ideal choice for both residential and industrial projects. In addition, they have a long service life—up to 50 years—according to UNE EN ISO 15874 standards. All of this, combined with minimal maintenance requirements, makes this product an extremely efficient and cost-effective alternative.

The fast assembly, variety of fittings, and pipe diameters with reliable seamless joints position our single-layer pipes very competitively in the market. The easy handling and light weight of the pipes offer a great opportunity for use in hard-to-access installations. The smooth inner surface prevents algae, scaling, or buildup, helping to maintain a consistent internal pipe diameter. The low surface roughness and virtually nonexistent friction on the inner walls lead to very low pressure loss, and as a result, high fluid flow velocity and continuous flow are maintained (V = 0.50–3.50 m/s).

Single-layer PPR pipes reduce sound transmission compared to metal pipes. They also have high resistance to impact, corrosion, and most chemical substances. At Reboca, we offer high-quality products that always comply with current regulations. Furthermore, these products meet the specific needs of customers thanks to the variety of diameters (from 16 mm to 160 mm depending on the PPR pipe model) and thicknesses in single-layer pipes, as well as the extensive catalog of pipes and fittings, including socket-weld fittings, which are inserted into the pipe, and others that are butt-welded, which are welded to the pipe surface. Our product catalog includes the welding tools needed to make these connections. This way, we provide construction companies with all the materials required for installation.
