REPOLEN PP-R DRINKING WATER pipes are ideal for transporting pressurized cold and hot drinking water, thanks to their high mechanical and chemical resistance. Their distinctive blue line facilitates identification in plumbing installations, optimizing the assembly process. They comply with quality regulations and are made from 100% recyclable material.

REPOLEN PP-R DRINKING WATER pipes are the best system for the transport of hot and cold water under pressure, for human consumption. They are manufactured with Polypropylene Copolymer Random type 3, a copolymer of propylene and ethylene. They have exceptional mechanical resistance up to 100ºC and below 0º and excellent chemical resistance. The REPOLEN PP-R BANDA AZUL pipe is a monolayer pipe designed to provide solutions in all those applications that require the transport of water under pressure for consumption.

They share the properties of REPOLEN PP-R pipes, with innumerable uses. However, REPOLEN PP-R DRINKING WATER pipes are specially designed for hydro-sanitary installations (connections, meter and collector panels, risers, distribution, branches, boilers, accumulators, return lines), since the blue line indicates that they are drinking water pipes. This small aspect simplifies the installation process, since it is easier for construction companies to identify the pipes and their applications when different fluids are installed in the same space. In addition, the blue lines are used to align the fittings, acting as a reference point.

PROJECTS

REPOLEN PP-R DRINKING WATER pipes are manufactured in compliance with UNE EN ISO 15874 and are certified by AENOR (No. 001/005595). This type of pipe, made of polypropylene, is notable for its high chemical resistance, making it ideal for withstanding acids, alkalis, and numerous industrial substances. However, it is important to keep in mind that PPR material is not suitable for prolonged exposure to sunlight, as this accelerates aging and deterioration. For situations where direct sunlight is required, we offer multi-layer PPR pipes specifically designed with UV protection to ensure durability.

Drinking water pipes cannot be manufactured with recycled materials, according to regulations. We use environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable materials, due to our strong environmental commitment. All our PPR pipes are made from virgin raw materials. REPOLEN PP-R DRINKING WATER pipes are available in SDR11 in a wide variety of diameters, from 20 mm to 160 mm.
