VICAMP pipes, made of virgin low density polyethylene, are characterized by their flexibility and durability. They are highly adaptable and offer excellent performance in a variety of uses, especially in agriculture and irrigation systems. Their ability to adjust to uneven terrain makes them an ideal choice. Thanks to their flexibility, they facilitate installation in curved paths and minimize the risk of damage due to compression. In addition, their low weight simplifies both transport and handling, making them perfect for projects in hard-to-reach areas. Their design also makes them highly resistant to water hammer, extending the service life of installations and reducing wear and tear.
In the agricultural field, low density polyethylene pipes are essential for water distribution in irrigation systems. They carry water from the source to the emitters, such as sprinklers or drip lines, ensuring an efficient and uniform supply. They are also ideal for secondary installations, as their malleability allows them to overcome geographical challenges without compromising their performance.
PE40 pipes are highly resistant to chemicals such as acids, alkalis and other compounds common in the agricultural sector. Thanks to this property, they become a strong and reliable solution in environments with frequent exposure to corrosive agents. Their structure also allows them to withstand extreme temperatures, preventing damage even when water freezes inside. This versatility in adverse conditions ensures their consistent performance, reliability and long-term durability.
PROJECTS
Another significant advantage is their ability to maintain water quality. Thanks to their smooth internal surface, they minimize the buildup of sediment, algae, or other scale, preserving the internal diameter and ensuring a consistent flow for years. Furthermore, their chemical composition ensures that they do not transmit flavors or odors to the transported liquids, a crucial feature in sensitive applications.
Low-density polyethylene is not only valuable in the agricultural sector but also in other applications. In industry, these pipes are ideal for transporting liquids with corrosive substances due to their robust chemical resistance. They are also used in gardening and landscaping projects, where irrigation systems are installed that do not alter the aesthetics of the surroundings. In water distribution facilities, they offer safe and efficient transportation, ensuring that the liquid reaches its destination in optimal condition. VICAMP pipe is manufactured according to UNE EN ISO 21003 and UNE EN ISO 15874 standards, with AENOR certificate of product conformity (No. 001/006498) according to technical specification RP.01.72. It is available in SDR7.4, SDR11 and SDR17 in a wide variety of diameters, from 20mm to 110mm.
