PE100 pipes are produced with high density polyethylene, being light, elastic and highly resistant to heat, chemicals and electricity. They are able to withstand high pressures with reduced thickness. They are also resistant to ultraviolet rays. They have excellent processability, which makes their production easier. Their superior flexibility also allows cold bending, making it possible to supply them in rolls, taking up less space and facilitating transportation. This significantly reduces manufacturing costs, making them a more durable, higher quality and ultimately more cost-effective option.

They offer great adaptability to various project needs, favoring their installation thanks to their light weight. Their flexibility ensures that, after thawing, they return to their original shape without fracturing in the event of freezing. However, this does not usually happen, since they are an excellent thermal insulator and can withstand extreme temperatures, preventing freezing in times of very low temperatures. PE100 pipes have a long service life. This is due, among other things, to their high resistance to crack propagation, which also gives the product a high safety factor.

PROJECTS

Due to their composition, PE pipes do not promote the growth of known microorganisms, bacteria, or fungi. The polished interior of the pipes prevents scaling, reducing the possibility of the proliferation of unwanted organisms. Thanks to the prevention of scaling, maintenance costs are significantly reduced. In addition, this interior finish has a very low roughness coefficient, resulting in minimal pressure loss. PE100 pipes are also resistant to abrasion, high-energy radiation, and ultraviolet radiation.

They share the properties of PE100 pipes, with different uses. However, PE100 RED BAND pipes are data pipes, specifically designed for cable installations, as indicated by the red band. This simple element makes installation faster, as it’s easier for builders to identify the pipes and their respective uses when different types of systems are in the same space. The red lines, on the other hand, serve as a reference for aligning the fittings.

Pipes made with virgin polyethylene, rather than recycled, offer superior quality, as they provide a hygiene guarantee that pipes made with recycled materials cannot. As part of our ecological commitment, we use resources that are environmentally friendly and fully recyclable. PE100 RED BAND pipe is available in SDR26 in a wide variety of diameters, from 110 mm to 400 mm.
