REPOLEN FASER pipes are made of multiple layers of different materials. They can be recognized by their dark green stripes on the surface, which also serve to orient the components, using them as a reference. REPOLEN FASER pipes are mainly made of PPR, Polypropylene Copolymer Random type 3, a mixture of propylene and ethylene. They offer remarkable mechanical resistance up to 100ºC and below 0ºC, as well as extraordinary chemical resistance. Inside, they have a layer of fiberglass that reinforces structural rigidity. This results in an increased ability to withstand pressure at high temperatures. Improved tensile strength reduces pipe expansion, which means fewer supports and fewer clamps during installation. In summary, the fiberglass coating not only optimizes heat response, but also reduces the space required for installation and reduces material costs.
REPOLEN FASER pipe is a multilayer pipe designed to provide solutions for countless applications, including plumbing installations (service connections, meter and manifold panels, risers, distribution, branches, boilers, accumulators, return lines), air conditioning with fan coils and underfloor heating, heating (including high temperature boilers, underfloor heating, radiators, etc.), thermal water, swimming pools, geothermal installations, installations sensitive to disinfection against legionella (hospitals, schools, institutional buildings, hotels, sports facilities, etc.), installations sensitive to disinfection against legionella (hospitals, schools, institutional buildings, hotels, sports facilities, etc.).), thermal water, swimming pools, geothermal installations, installations sensitive to disinfection against legionella (hospitals, schools, institutional buildings, hotels, sports facilities, etc.), compressed air installations, conveying and transport of compressed air.), compressed air installations, transport of industrial liquids… We recommend this pipe above all for DHW (sanitary hot water) as it withstands high temperatures very well.
PROJECTS
REPOLEN FASER pipes are manufactured under the UNE EN ISO 21003 and UNE EN ISO 15874 standards and have an AENOR certificate of conformity (No. 001/006498), according to technical specification RP.01.72. Pipes made of polypropylene have high chemical resistance, being able to withstand both acids and bases, as well as many industrial substances. However, PPR should not be exposed to solar radiation, since prolonged exposure can deteriorate the material, accelerating its aging. We offer multi-layer PPR pipes designed with UV protection, ideal for situations where they are exposed to the sun, such as the REPOLEN FASER RP UV / FASER CLIMA UV PIPE.
All our REPOLEN pipes are made from virgin material, as regulations prohibit the use of recycled materials for drinking water. In keeping with our commitment to environmental protection, we use environmentally friendly and fully recyclable materials. REPOLEN FASER pipes are available in SDR 7.4 and a wide variety of diameters, from 20 mm to 125 mm.
