MES SYSTEM – Digitization of extrusion lines and improvement of product traceability
REBOCA, S.L. has been awarded a grant in the amount of 16,244 euros to undertake this project. This grant is co-financed by IVACE (Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness) and the European Union through FEDER funds.
It is part of the aid program “PROYECTOS DE DIGITALIZACIÓN DE PYME (DIGITALIZA-CV)” and has been assigned the file number IMDIGA/2021/443.
Basically, it consists of the implementation of an Integral Productivity and Production Control System MES/MOM linked to the extrusion lines for direct data capture, as well as the installation of complementary Optional Modules to increase the potential of the system. With the execution of this project REBOCA takes an important step in the path of Industry 4.0.
A large amount of data will be available about the different production parameters, obtained in real time, which will allow to act more efficiently in the correction of deviations of all kinds, resulting in the final quality of the product. Likewise, integration with our ERP will also mean a significant improvement in the traceability of the product and its components, making it more efficient and reliable.
The project also covers other production processes of the company such as the manufacture of batteries and collectors or the assembly of components and accessories.
In later phases, digitalization will be extended to all of REBOCA, S.L.’s production processes.
