The REPOLEN FIRE RP system, composed of multi-layer PP-RCT and fiberglass pipes, is designed for firefighting networks. It withstands high temperatures, pressure, and chemical agents. It is halogen-free, with a B-s1.d0C fire reaction classification, recyclable, and certified.

The REPOLEN FIRE RP System is composed of pipes and fittings designed for fire extinguishing installations through the application of automatic sprinklers and equipped fire hydrants (BIE). This firefighting system consists of multilayer pipes manufactured with an inner layer of random copolymer polypropylene copolymer with modified crystalline structure of the latest generation (PP-RCT). The intermediate layer of the ppr fire protection pipe is made of PP-RCT and additivated fiberglass, minimizing the possible effects of expansion and contraction due to temperature changes that the pipe could experience during its useful life. The external layer is composed of PP-RCT and a fireproof additive that protects it from fire.

This system of pipes and fittings is suitable for fire-fighting installations of wet pipes permanently charged with pressurized water. We have reaction to fire classification B-s1,d0, DIT certificates (technical suitability) for specific water supply networks of fire extinguishing installations for both automatic sprinklers and equipped fire hydrant networks (bie) and American certification FM1635 by ICC ES. The REPOLEN FIRE RP system is halogen-free, as its composition does not contain fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine and astatine. This means that it does not contain elements that during combustion release hazardous substances in the form of smoke that are toxic to people and cause corrosion of metals.

PROJECTS

REPOLEN FIRE RP pipes are manufactured following the requirements of the UNE EN ISO 15874 standard, adding an additive for adequate fire resistance for fire installations. Polypropylene pipes have outstanding resistance to chemical agents, resisting both acids and alkalis, as well as many substances used in the industry. However, PPR should not be exposed to the sun’s UV rays, as continuous exposure causes the material to degrade, accelerating its aging process.

Each of our REPOLEN pipes is manufactured with original material, as regulations do not authorize the use of recycled materials for drinking water. Thanks to our environmental responsibility, we use sustainable materials and the pipes are 100% recyclable. REPOLEN FIRE RP pipe is available in SDR 7.4 and SDR11, in a wide variety of diameters, from 25 mm to 160 mm.
